History
Established in 1982,
Skills for Change (SfC) is a not-for-profit organization that has
pioneered programs for internationally
trained professionals seeking employment in
their field. In 1998 Skills for Change received funding from Human
Resources Development Canada to establish and operate an
Employment Resource Centre that
helps all job seekers
achieve their employment goals.
The Skills for Change Employment
Resource Centre,
previously known as the Dufferin
Mall Employment Resource Centre,
welcomed its first client on
February 19th, 1998 and
continues to
provide today’s most
comprehensive employment
resources and career information
for job seekers.
